Dear Families,

Warm holiday wishes and a healthy and happy new year!  It has been an eventful year and I am sure we are all looking forward to spending some time with our families during the holiday season.  I just wanted to send a short note and express my appreciation.

The members of this coalition have been tremendously supportive and active.  I want to personally thank each and every one of you for your time and dedication.  This coalition has continued to grow and evolve - meeting every challenge put in front of us.

The will be much to do in 2008, and we are already making plans on how to better advocate for our public cyber schools.

We are going to have to be stronger and more persuasive if we are to preserve and protect the educational choice our families have made.  Our schools are accountable and successful.  They deserve an equal place at the table!

Innovation and change rarely occurs without significant obstacles to overcome.  Unfortunately, the Beyer bill still looms as our biggest challenge. However, I have every confidence this coalition will continue to make a difference in this fight.

I am looking forward to working with all of you next year!
